Sacramento Water Polo is excited to offer private water polo training!

  • One-on-one water polo training in the privacy of a heated, backyard pool.
  • This is not a 25 yard facility.
  • Training session is one hour in length.
  • Session may be split with one other athlete if parents / athletes choose to do so.  Strictly limited to a maximum of two athletes per training session.
  • Registration accepted on a first come - first served basis.  Space and time limited.  Names will be accepted and placed upon a waiting list once the weekly training calendar is full.

How to Register:

  • Contact Coach Bruce Hastie at hastieb@sacpolo.com to register for one of the following options:
  • Four Training Sessions:  One week - Monday thru Thursday.
  • Eight Training Sessions:  Two consecutive weeks – Monday thru Thursday.
  • One individual training session.  Determined by day / time available.
  • No training on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

·     All training equipment provided:  Regulation size goal, sniper shooting canvas, rebound board, rebound net, resistance bands, weighted vest, water polo balls, etc.

Guidelines

·     Arrive in swim suit.  Bring a towel.

·     Bring swim goggles.

·     Bring a water bottle.

Cost / Payment / Waiver

Release & Waiver must be signed prior to beginning of first training session.

Payment must be made prior to beginning of first training session.  Cash only.  Please:  No checks, credit cards, or Venmo accepted.

$70:     One training session.

  • Two athletes per training session = 75 minute session.  $85 for the 75 minute session (athletes split cost).

·     $250:   Four training sessions / One week / Monday thru Thursday  (Four hours of training)

·     $460:   Eight training sessions / Two consecutive weeks / Monday thru Thursday (Eight hours of training)

Structure:  Individual training will focus on the following:

Development of individual skills - - especially Center Forward and Center Back positions.

Individual ball handling and shooting.

Improving upon weaknesses through spaced repetition.

Conditioning will be a component of the training.
